Our commitment

Sybyte Technologies Inc. is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, in line with theAccessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). We aim to meet theWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we have done

  • Clear page structure with headings, landmarks and a "skip to main content" link.
  • Full keyboard access to menus, forms and buttons, with a visible focus outline.
  • Text and background colours that meet WCAG contrast ratios.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form fields with visible labels and clear error and success messages.
  • Pages that work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.
  • Respect for the "reduce motion" setting; nothing moves or plays on its own.

How we test

We test pages with automated tools (axe and Lighthouse) and by keyboard before publishing changes.

Known limitations

  • The homepage video is hosted by YouTube; its player and captions are controlled by YouTube.
  • Older articles and documents from our previous website may not yet meet every guideline. We are updating them.
